Like we told you a while back we had a gig the 4:th of July, and it was such a blast! It went really well and it was so much fun to get out there and play again! We want to play more!!! BOOK US!!! ;D

What do you do for a living?

I’m currently studying specialization in design of music and sound, musicology. And of course playing the guitar in To be Frank.

Favorite bands?

AC/DC, Alice Cooper, Cream and The Black Crows.

Do you believe in anything supernatural?

Lots of things. 

How many guitars do you have?

One Dean guitar split tale and a Gibson SG S3.

Places you’ve been to?

Denmark, Sweden, Stockholm, Gotland, Kalmar, Öland, Tranås and my grocery store… Haha.

Phobias?

I have a really strange phobia and it’s the feeling of flour.

When I was six years old I danced to La Vida Loca by Ricky Martin in the school cabaret.

Paleontologist - because I saw Jurassic Park.

1970s’, because of the rock’n’roll revolution and the freedom.

Really bad orientation, loud talker, ”räkmackeglidare” (a person who gets away with doing a little bit less than everybody else).

What did your life look like ten years ago?

I was a thirteen year old boy with long hair that had just been saved by the guitar. My favorite song was Thunderstruck by AC/DC and I played the guitar every day and Thunderstruck was on repeat everyday, driving my parents crazy.

Monday

I've just finished working on the drums for tonight.   Now it's not very much of the drums left. We are very happy with the sound of the drums, it's really gooood ;)

We also wanted to show you Emil's new To be Frank shirt that I sewed for him about a week ago. A picture of the whole shirt is coming up within the next few days.

Since last night we've started recording some drums. We've still got some more work to do though.

Wanna make God laugh, tell him your plans...

Yesterday we decided to take a picture as header for the blog and today we went out in the "woods" and took some pictures. The rain was pouring down but luckily the trees protected us from most of the rain. Why do we always  come up with the idea of taking band-photos in the winter time? Haha ;). Jokes aside it was really a lot of fun and we're very satisfied with the result! 

The solution for being able to photograph AND hold an umbrella.

Trio

Hi everybody!
We've got some news for you all.

Because of lack of time and too much commute we've all decided that our bass player, Hanna, sadly will no longer be a part of To be Frank. It's very sad! On the other hand will Rebecca, Emil and Alice continue as a strong trio. This just means more focus on guitars, drums and vocals. We're just as good as usual!

We're now hoping to get access to a studio so you can hear more of our latest songs!

Emil followed Rebecca in her guitar trail and bought himself a Hagstrom guitar today. We are all in love!
